A magnificent climb with views of numerous 4,000-meter peaks and passage through the picturesque village of Törbel, where you can refill your water bottle. The climb is challenging, but the gradient eases slightly in the final kilometers just as your legs start to ache. The Ride the Alps event offers a once-a-year opportunity in May to ride the climb without traffic.

Very exposed from the south side so hot!! if its sunny but the views are spectacular. On the lower slopes its quite narrow so take care and listen or car - the traffic is OK so you will hear when they are coming in either direction before you see them. I make a point of being more in the middle of the narrow road to be seen more easily and day lights also help me feel I am more visible. All the vehicles I encountered were considerate.

One of the best panorama climb in whole Switzerland. Lots of hairpins, light traffic.

Did during a Ride the Alps. Great climb, lots of hairpins, steep walls on the sides, and it becomes easier at the end. You can even fill up with water at the middle.

Wow! The Moosalp from Stalden is for me enjoy. Until Torbel you meet several cars, but after that it is often quite quiet. Against serious percentages we climb to over 2000M. Leaving early pays off, because once the sun is on the back it is sweating. The last kilometer to the top is a gift, because the climb flattens out considerably. At the top there are plenty of opportunities to order cake and refreshments. The view is very rewarding, the climb quiet and sweet. Be careful in the descent.

Wauw!

Remember that a smooth cadence is always more efficient!
