This is the climb from the 2013 World Championships; it’s easy up to San Domenico, then it’s nearly two kilometers at a gradient of over 6%. Unfortunately, it’s busy—it’s the most heavily traveled road to Fiesole. Be careful on the descent: watch out for manhole covers with holes in the middle of the road.

I would much rather recommend the same climb through Vincigliata - less trafficked and more scenic. It's amongst my favorite climbs for shorter interval sessions from Florence.
