Tough climb of Montecamplo that starts just after a small bridge over the ravine of the same name, the slope at first starts out flat but after a few hundred meters s'ramps up to 12-13 %, then settles around 9%, you make a so a couple of straight stretches in the middle of the Mediterranean scrub with an intense scent of juniper and pine, typical of these parts. Past the first 2½ miles the gradient becomes more acceptable, then you come to an intersection, left to the Casone (where the other variation to the classic climb comes from) and right to Mount Holy Trinity, c'is a false-flat first part and then begins a hard section of about 1 km with a series of curves with double-digit gradients and a suboptimal road surface with gravel, where it is easy to slip if you stand up, finally you get to the top, where the road ends (you can continue only by mtb) and there are a couple of antennas.
