The most interesting part of this climb is undoubtedly the final two kilometers.
The first part runs along the road that links Bertamiráns with Portomouro. This stretch, about 4 kilometers long, is not very charming and sometimes the traffic can be a bit heavy.
It is when we reach the detour to Tapia, which appears on the right hand side, that we face the 2 very hard final kilometers, now on a practically deserted road but still with good road surface.
For those who still have strength, you can link this climb with the also intense ascent to the Bola de Espiñeira.
