The most interesting part of this climb is undoubtedly the final two kilometres. The first part runs along the road that links Bertamiráns with Portomouro. This stretch, which is around 4 kilometres long, is not very charming and at times the traffic can be a little heavy. The most interesting part of this climb is undoubtedly the final two kilometres.

The first part runs along the road that links Bertamiráns with Portomouro. This stretch, which is around 4 kilometres long, is not very charming and at times the traffic can be a little heavy.

It is when we reach the turn-off to Tapia, which appears on the right hand side, that we face the final 2 very hard kilometres, now on a road that is practically deserted but still in good condition.

For those who still have the strength, you can link this climb with the also intense ascent to the Bola de Espiñeira.
