I really like this climb. The first section to Passo San Uldarico is a great warm up climb, the Cavedine valley is lovely with orchards and vineyards. The main climb on the SP85 is hard even if it is not specifically steep. The length of the long straight s and lack of hairpins make this road go seemingly on forever. The Viote plain has lovely views on the Dolomites and Monte Bondone. When I rode the pass, I was nearly alone on the road bar the occasional tractor. Great fast downhill due to the lack of hairpins.

I have a different perception from the previous writer. The first part is the Passo San Uldarico up to Vigo, average 5.2 %, max 9%. Then a short descent and right before Lasino. Avg . 5.3% and max. 8%. Clear wide road with long straights (safe downhill). Before, in and after the bends, the gradient is lower, allowing you to pass smoothly through the corners. I saw very few cars's passing by.
