Not my favourite side to ride to Kassel. The second half over the cobbles is good, is tricky because of the cobbles but enjoyable because it is a nice climb often done in cycling races. However, the first part of this variation is annoying because you ride next to a major road, and there really is a lot of traffic. If you want to go up via the route de Dunkerque, it is better to cross the main road straight up to the cobbles instead of following the main road.
Niet mijn favoriete kant om naar Kassel te rijden. De tweede helft over de kasseien is goed, is lastig door de kasseien maar plezant omdat het een mooie klim is die vaak in wielerwedstrijden wordt gedaan. Het eerste stuk van deze variant is echter vervelend doordat je naast een grote weg rijdt, en er is echt wel veel verkeer. Als je via de route de Dunkerque naar boven wilt is het beter om recht tov de kasseien de grote weg over te steken ipv de grote weg te volgen.
