Very pleasant climb that looks more like an extremely long runner. The road is wide but quiet and you climb sheltered through the forest for the first 15 kilometres. As you approach the base of the climb and look up to the right, you can already just see the summit. Very impressive to have that summit in sight for much of the climb. Lovely climb with a tame gradient. I left at 7am 'in the morning from our holiday home to get ahead of the heat. Until the summit (37 km away) I crossed 10 cars's, 4 cyclists and 20 cows.
