Of the northbound climbs in Simpelveld, this is the most enjoyable. The climb starts in the Rode Put district after which you ride to the roundabout on Rolduckerweg. You have then immediately had the steepest part of the climb. You take the roundabout for three quarters and then you take the first road on the right to Molsberg. You first drive between the houses for a bit and then you start to get wide views of the surroundings. From Rolduckerweg you ride on false flat terrain except for a sma... read more

Indeed a much more gradual climb to Huls and also through a beautiful rural area. I'm told this is a favourite climb of Tom Dumoulin's!

The most relaxed way to get to the Huls from the south. After leaving the built-up area the landscape becomes nice. Distant views to the left and to the back and the last part is a nice winding road.
