This was my first go at anything more than what the UK can provide. Top class road surface, 0 cars from Tabeysco until you reach the main road where the hair pins kick in. A few cars met during this section to the top, however all considerate and no issues. The climb itself is very easy to get a rhythm on, nothing too steep. A nice "rest bite" from the gradient at about 4.5km in as you cross the bridge allowing you to see where you've come from and take in the view. Just a note th... read more

Very nice climb with not a lot of traffic. The views are beautiful and the steepness is very manageable and constant. Great road quality!

Nice quiet roads with considerate drivers. The surface is good, like most of the island. The final switchbacks are not as bad as you might think, then the finish comes quick.

Must do if you are in Lanzarote. Lovely climb on very quiet road where there is hardly any traffic. Road is in good condition and you drive through the beautiful hinterland of Lanzarote. For most of the climb you can see the entire climb ahead of you. Only the last part you come to the more busy main road.

Must do als je op Lanzarote bent. Heerlijke klim over zeer rustige weg waar nauwelijks verkeer is.

For me the most beautiful ascent on Lanzarote! First part in the Tabayesco valley with almost no car traffic. Subsequent part on the LZ10 with charming hairpin bends and still bearable car traffic.

Very fine side of this climb. Beautiful and much much quieter in the first section than the Arrieta side. Very nice, but relatively long. About 10km you have to count anyway. The last few km run parallel to the Arrieta side. And become slightly busier again. But then you end up among the rocks again, which finally provide the necessary coolness.

Very quiet in February even though it was half term. Road surface is still good since i last did it, really enjoyed doing this one again and would 100% recommend.

Just a note that the restaurant may seem tmepting but isn't the top of the climb (but it is the end of main strava segment) so keep going to the top then roll back down to refuel. The viewpoint requires either paid entry or to purchase something from the restaurant. Overall, one I want to come back from and get a better time on!
