Vanuit Ubachsberg daal je eerst af en t.h.v. de Vrakelbergerweg begint de klim richting Mingersborg. Tot aan de kruising bij de Bernardushoeve is het (zeker met al veel kilometers in de benen) flink doortrappen. Op de kruising linksaf en dan heb je even wat hersteltijd omdat het richting molen weer omhoog gaat.

Vanaf de molen een werkelijk prachtig uitzicht richting het oosten, zuidoosten en zuiden, tot ver in Duitsland. Plus een extra klimmetje naar de molen dus extra hoogtemeters.
