The Menez Hom is "the" mountain of the area. Stands out like a bald pimple above the surroundings. Nice and quiet ascent on a Monday in June, in tourist resort it will be different . This is a climb of two halves. First the lovely quiet lane through farmland, a little rough and some decent gradients. Take care when crossing the main road to continue on the 'classic' section of Menez Hom through open moorland. In high season expect cars shuttling to and from the summit car park. Great views.
