Meiner Meinung nach einer der schönsten Anstiege im Harz! Es handelt sich um einen sehr gut asphaltierten Fortstweg, auf dem kein Autoverkehr zugelassen ist. Es ist somit der ruhigste Anstieg von Altenau hoch nach Torfhaus. Oben kommt man an der 4 Spurigen Bundesstraßen raus und muss dort die letzten Kilometer bis zum Gipfel zu Ende fahren
