In my opinion, one of the most beautiful climbs in the Harz Mountains! It’s a very well-surfaced forest track on which no motor vehicles are permitted. This makes it the quietest route up from Altenau to Torfhaus. At the top, you come out onto the four-lane A-road and have to cycle the final few kilometres to the summit from there.... read more
