Eén van de klimmetjes om tussen Spaubeek en Nuth omhoog te gaan naar het plateau bij Schimmert. Deze versie is niet al te moeilijk. Het steilste stuk zit in de eerste 400 meter. Daarna wordt het tot de top vals plat. Je rijdt voornamelijk tussen bomen/struiken. Pas op de top krijg je uitzicht.

Redelijk rustige klim over een mooi slingerend en autovrij weggetje met behoorlijk goed asfalt (kan bovenin wel vies zijn door landbouwverkeer). Onderweg niet veel uitzicht omdat de weg wat dieper ligt. Bovenaan her en der wel weids uitzicht over de omgeving.
