From the start in Landry the slope is steep for the first 4 kilometres varying from 9 to sometimes 12 ％, the road is very good but the traffic is dense as the D87 gives access to many villages and hamlets, cars, coaches and also trucks are present with the bikes,
The final is located at the bottom of a high valley in a grandiose landscape worthy of a postcard,

Cette ascension devrait plutôt s’appeler refuge de Rosuel puisque c’est le point final et non pas les Bettières qui est un petit village sur une route parallèle.
Dès le départ de Landry la pente est forte sur les 4 premiers kilomètres variant de 9 à parfois 12 ％, la route est très bonne mais la circulation est dense car la D87 donne accès à de nombreux villages et hameaux, voitures, cars et aussi camions sont présents avec les vélos,
Le final est situé tout au fond d’une vallée d’altitude dans un paysage grandiose digne d’une carte postale,
Attention en été par fortes chaleurs, il vaut mieux le faire le matin très tôt.
