Niet te moeilijke klim in het buitengebied ten noorden van Eupen. Het begint even wat steil(er) maar daarna is het tot de top vals plat en heb je ook nog twee stukjes dat het wat daalt.
The devil (relatively speaking then) of this climb is clearly in the beginning. After a nice undulating road from Walhorn along the railway line, it suddenly goes up nicely to a clear highest point after which it slightly descends to a T-junction where you turn left. Here you are more on a plateau so the ascent is very gentle (more like false flat). Mostly reasonable to good tarmac, only on the left-right bend it is very bumpy for a while. Nice green surroundings.
Het venijn (relatief gezien dan) van deze klim zit duidelijk in het begin. Na een lichtjes golvende weg vanuit Walhorn langs de spoorlijn gaat het ineens lekker omhoog tot een duidelijk hoogste punt waarna het iets afdaalt naar een T-splitsing waar je linksaf gaat. Hier zit je meer op een hoogvlakte zodat het nog maar heel rustig stijgt (meer als vals plat). Overwegend redelijk tot goed asfalt, alleen in de links-rechts-bocht is het even erg hobbelig. Leuke groene omgeving.
