Leuke klim om op de Vennbahn te komen. Horecagelegenheid is leuk maar pas vanaf 13:00 open. Uitzicht is ook mooi daar, je kan daar het drielandenpunt zien!
Short and tough climb from Botz to the Vennbahn near the former Raeren station. From the start it rises steeply and only just before the Vennbahn does it level off. By the way, the Bahnhofcafé at the top is a nice place to take a break.
Kort en pittig klimmetje vanuit Botz naar de Vennbahn bij het vml. station van Raeren. Vanaf het begin loopt het flink op en pas net voor de Vennbahn vlakt het af. Het Bahnhofcafé op de top is overigens een leuke pauzeplek.

The level crossing consists of a few metres of gravel, the rest is good tarmac. At the level crossing there is also a cafe in style.
Lekker klimmetje en best stevig bovendien. Als je hieraan begint heb je al wat hoogtemeters vanuit Raeren in de benen en dan voel je deze nog wat extra. Deze klim begint nog redelijk rustig maar na de bocht naar links gaan de percentages omhoog en langs de huizen wordt het behoorlijk pittig. Vlak voor de Vennbahn vlakt het af. De spoorwegovergang bestaat uit enkele meters gravel, de rest is goed asfalt. Bij de spoorwegovergang is ook nog een café in stijl.
