This is a gem. Nice stretch of tarmac through the forest behind the castle. After the main road, you then drive up the back of Le Bourliquet. Beautiful.
Dit is een pareltje. Mooi stuk asfalt doorheen het bos achter het kasteel. Na de grote weg rij je dan de achterkant van Le Bourliquet op. Prachtig.
A lesser known climb, because it's not so central in the Pays Des Collines, but one of the most beautiful. Too bad you have to cross that busy road when you start at the castle (which I do recommend).
Een minder bekende klim, omdat hij niet zo centraal in de Pays Des Collines ligt, maar wel een van de mooiste. Alleen jammer dat je die drukke weg nog moet oversteken als je aan het kasteel begint (wat ik wel aanraad).
If you're not planning on setting a fast time on this climb, stop at the castle at the start! Then you go over new asphalt straight up. After crossing the road you can catch your breath before you start the steepest part. Be sure to look to the right for a beautiful view!
Als je niet van plan bent om een sterke tijd neer te zetten op deze klim, hou dan aan de start nog even halt bij het kasteel! Daarna ga je over nieuw asfalt recht naar boven. Na het oversteken van de steenweg kan je even op adem komen voor je aan het steilste stukje begint. Kijk hier zeker even naar rechts voor een prachtig uitzicht!
