Nice climb and nowhere killing.
From Mori to Brentonico you climb between the vineyards on a rather busy road, but the road is wide enough, so room for every road user.
Don't panic if you see the sign 16% in Brentonico, because here you turn left towards Polsa.
You leave the crowds behind you and now you can really enjoy the views.
Officially the climb ends a bit lower (at the parking lot) and here you will also find the sign with all the info about the climb you just did.
A little further on are some hotels and restaurants but also a shortcut to an extra adventure.
In the bend of the restaurant you can continue to the top of the Postemon and then descend to San Valentino.
But beware, in this part there are two strips of unpaved road but I got through it well.
This extra loop is quite steep after the first part. Double digits that even reach the 20% mark make everything creak, but after that, it's party time. Winding through alpine meadows, cows coming our way and nowhere above 10 %.
If you descend towards San Valentino, you come across the second unpaved strip, but if you are careful here, there is nothing wrong.
When you arrive at the T-junction you can choose to descend towards the base of your climb, or turn left for another 5km climb to the top of Monte Baldo.
But La Polsa is a nice climb that is doable for everyone and definitely worth the effort.
