The climb was on a small road in fair condition. Only 4 cars overtook me during the 23 km climb, which was very pleasant. It's long but not hard, which makes it a perfect pass to start out on if you're not physically fit to climb!... read more

I have done m to the col de la Ardechoise because of a heavy rainfall that is to 1184m..
The road up is not nice on some parts you almost bump off your bike... after the junction of the D278 & 378 the D378 narrow. Cars can just pass you if you keep strictly to the right! It is very quiet and not very inspiring... as soon as you get higher it gets better! Descending I have done via the D278 and I recommend it to others because the road surface is much better!
