I have done m to the col de la Ardechoise because of a heavy rainfall that is to 1184m..
The road up is not nice on some parts you almost bump off your bike... after the junction of the D278 & 378 the D378 narrow. Cars can just pass you if you keep strictly to the right! It is very quiet and not very inspiring... as soon as you get higher it gets better! Descending I have done via the D278 and I recommend it to others because the road surface is much better!

Ik heb m tot de col de la Ardechoise gedaan ivm een stevige regenbui dat is tot 1184m..
De weg omhoog is niet fijn op sommige stukken hobbel je bijna van je fiets af.. na de splitsing van de D278&378 wordt de D378 smal.. auto’s kunnen je net passeren als je strak rechts houdt! Het is er erg stil en niet heel inspirerend.. zodra je wat hoger komt wordt het al beter! Afdalen heb ik via de D278 gedaan en dat raad ik ook anderen aan want daar is het wegdek stukken beter!
