Beautiful climb in an even more beautiful setting. The road is a wide and very smooth tarmac road which at times is quite tough because 5.5 km of climbing at almost 8% with some sections going well over 10% is a bit of a calf biter. The climb is an annual feature of the tough Asturias rounds and also regularly features in the Vuelta. Because the climb is open you constantly have a beautiful view of the amazing and hard nature of Asturias. A must if you are in the area.... read more

A must if you are in the area.
