Beautiful climb in an even more beautiful setting. The road is a wide and very smooth tarmac road which at times is quite tough because 5.5 km of climbing at almost 8％ with some sections going well over 10％ is a bit of a calf biter.
The climb is an annual feature of the tough Asturias rounds and also regularly features in the Vuelta. Because the climb is open you constantly have a beautiful view of the amazing and hard nature of Asturias.
A must if you are in the area.
Mooie beklimming in een nog mooier decor. De weg is brefe zeer giede geasfalteerde weg die met zijn momenten best pittig is want 5,5 km klimmen aan bijna 8％met hier en daar stkken die ruim boven de 10％ oplopen is een kuitenbijtertje.
De klim is jaarlijks terug te vinden in de zware ronde van Asturië en ook regelmatig in de Vuelta. Doordat de klim open is heb je constant een prachtig uitzicht op de geweldige en harde natuur van Asturië.
