De klim begint op een prachtig heideveld maar helaas is het asfaltfietspad behoorlijk hobbelig. Daarnaast gaat het op en neer dus een tempo aanhouden is ook lastig. Na de parkeerplaats gaat het fietspad over in een asfaltweg die lekker oploopt en met een heel wat beter wegdek. Het laatste deel daarna is relatief gezien dan weer uitfietsen.
