From the roundabout it's a fast descent to where the road crosses a small stream then the main climb begins. It's not as long or as interesting as the iconic Horseshoe Pass from Llangollen but finishes with a nice climb on the open mountain side. Just remember not to stop at the cafe (currently closed 07/25) as the road summit is a few 100m's farther on.... read more
