The easiest way to drive 'Kruisemberg' up. The beginning is a bit annoying though, as there is no good way to enter that street. At a minimum, you have to cross the busy road (with not always good visibility of oncoming traffic) but if you come out of the other side road close to it, you almost have no choice but to cycle on the stone road for a while. Once on the climb, it actually starts with a stretch that hardly seems to go uphill. Only the last stretch, from the junction of five, rises a bit more. The road surface is in poor condition at times. At the top there is a view, but during the climb you actually cycle past houses or industrial estates so it is, in my opinion, the worst way to ride up Kruisemberg. There are about 10 other variants parallel to the southwest, all of which are better. Only plus is that there is little traffic but that is true for almost all variants (except the Olsenesteenweg)

De makkelijkste manier om 'Kruisemberg' op te rijden. Het begin is wel wat vervelend, omdat er geen enkele goede manier is om die straat in te rijden. Je moet minimaal de drukke weg over steken (met niet altijd goed zicht op aankomend verkeer) maar als je uit het ander zijweggetje komt daar vlak bij kan je bijna niet anders dan even op de steenweg te fietsen. Eens aan de klim bezig begint het eigenlijk met een stuk dat nauwelijks bergop lijkt te gaan. Enkel het laatste stuk, vanaf de vijfsprong loopt wat meer op. Het wegdek is soms in slechte staat. Boven is er een uitzicht, maar tijdens de klim fiets je eigenlijk langs huizen of bedrijventerreinen dus het is mijn inziens de slechtste kant om Kruisemberg op te rijden. Er zijn parallel naar het zuidwesten ongeveer 10 andere varianten die allen beter zijn. Enige pluspunt is dat er weinig verkeer is maar dat is voor bijna alle varianten zo (behalve de Olsenesteenweg)
