De aanrijdroute gaat over de Oude Kleefsebaan maar van die helling merk je amper wat. Dat verandert als je via een haarspeldbocht het kleine weggetje naar rechts pakt want daar gaat het meteen flink omhoog en verderop wordt het nog steiler. Licht slingerend ga je via een mooie holle weg omhoog. Bij de bosrand vlakt het snel af en bieden de weilanden leuk uitzicht.

Ondanks het matige wegdek is het een lekkere steile piek om op het grote blad en op de macht omhoog te knallen. Ben je eenmaal boven en uit het bos dan ontvouwt zich een mooi uitzicht op het omringende landschap.
