Nice climb with varying gradients. Catering in Thannenkirch halfway up and a terrace at the top. Fine views over Alsace with a view of the Black Forest. You can't really see Haut Konigsbourg castle very well. A visit there is really worthwhile. We had started from Bergeheim and returned over Saint Hippolyte.

Erg leuke klim en een fijne loper om dan aan te komen bij een prachtige uitzicht tot aan de snelweg, en als je van de vogezen terug rijdt zul je het kasteel nog een laatste keer kunnen groeten. Fijne herinneringen aan deze klim, erg rustig ook.
Very nice climb. Even on the Ascension weekend, the stretch up to a few km before Koenigsbourg was quite quiet. Last stretch to Koenigsbourg was very busy with cars's and full parking. So cycled straight on and took the beautiful descent to Liepvre.
Erg mooie klim. Zelfs in het Hemelvaartweekend was het stuk tot een paar km voor Koenigsbourg vrij rustig. Laatste stuk naar Koenigsbourg was erg druk met auto's en volle parkeerplaats. Dus gelijk door gefietst en de prachtige afdaling naar Liepvre genomen.
