From Vevey to Blonay there is quite a bit of traffic, which gradually diminishes. At Alliaz, we continue on the route de Pautex at around 9-10%. Here, the climb is pretty with little traffic and a great view. You arrive at the Pautex car park where you can turn left to get to Les Pléiades which is to be recommended. If you turn right onto the route de St Hélène, the road becomes very bad for the rest of the climb. To be absolutely clear, I wouldn't recommend going up on a racing bike - I've tried it and it works, but it's no fun. A Gravel would be more suitable. We follow the path to the Alpage de la Neuve. From there, you ride for a few kilometres on a false flat, as if on a small plateau, before the slope picks up again for a few hundred metres. At the top, there is a cul de sac with no particular view.
