A beautiful climb that starts easily among the trees, but as you get to the top has a very mean bit. When you think you are there, you pass a wild grid and then you have to go back up again. The views there are phenomenal. The road is narrow and quiet. There are zero amenities, but after the summit you roll right into Hay on Wye which is, relatively speaking, a metropolis.
