Amazing scenery! This climb starts in an unusual way. I took the cycle way from Levanto which led through a series of old train tunnels and then ended abruptly in a dead end. To progress, take the lift (on the left side of the path) two floors down. Turn right at the bottom. Walk around the old fishing boats (heading west) towards the massive arches that support the railway. The first one has a curved path / driveway that ascends up to the left, through and under the arch. At the top, turn right onto the road to find the head of the climb.

The climb itself is stunning passing beautiful houses and switching back through a stunning landscape.
