Je begint via een klein weggetje vanuit het centrum en langs de kerk en de helling zet meteen lekker in - en blijft dat doen als je op de hoofdweg (erg rustig trouwens) komt en het dorp verlaat. Er volgt even een vlak stukje omdat je een beek en wat huizen passeert en daarna gaat het weer flink stijgen... en na de bocht die je de rest van de klim nog steiler omhoog lopen tot vlak voor de bosrand waar de top is. In het laatste deel weids uitzicht naar achteren over het Moezeldal en het tegenover gelegen Luxemburg.
