Easy climb that you can start directly from Girona. Normally you will meet plenty of fellow cyclists here. side is nicer as a descent than the north side. Some nice views over Les Gaverres to behold.

The climb is not very special, but a big favourite among pros. Seems. It was my first longer climb, and so I enjoyed it immensely. This climb will continue to hold a sweet spot in my heart. The descent is also wonderfully fast, and uncluttered. Also, the property at the top is a perfect location for a photo of the bike you just conquered the climb with.
De klim is niet heel bijzonder, maar een grote favoriet onder profs. Schijnt. Het was mijn eerste langere klim, en ik heb dan ook enorm genoten. Deze klim blijft een mooie plekje in mijn hart houden. Ook de afdaling is heerlijk snel, en overzichtelijk. Ook is het pand boven een perfecte locatie voor een foto van de fiets waarmee je de klim zojuist hebt bedwongen.

Probably the most popular climb in the area. It's right on Girona's doorstep, has little traffic (apart from cyclists) and a nice steady gradient most of the way up to the old monastery, where the views are. Good surface makes descending a pleasure too. If you have time I'd recommend going up and over the other side to Madremanya, rather than turning round at the top.

Schitterend klim in een prachtige regio. Klimpercentages worden nooit echt hoog dus je kunt goed je krachten verdelen. Grootste uitdaging is de hitte als je deze klim in de zomer doet zoals wij deden. Temperatuur van 41 graden maakt elke beklimming zwaar :). Als je boven bent is er een bar om wat te dringen met schitteren uitzicht. Zeker even het laatste stukje naar links afslaan op het gravel dus.
