After miscalculating the route, we drove down past Oak Mountain and then drove up past here, the climb is very nice and not much traffic. But because of the way to get there, it is not recommended.

This is usually used as a descent to get to Eikenberg. Especially also because you can only get to the foot via a busy road or you could descend the Eikenberg which is not recommended. Fortunately, the busy road is also an option as there is a nice bike path and a nice cycling café nearby. The Ellestraat first starts with a bit of false flat between houses where you think: is this it now? No thankfully not, once you leave the houses it gets a bit steeper, although I don't think it's 10%. You take the steepest bit through a hollow road and then the worst is passed and it flattens out. The road surface does get worse here. The finish is at the well-known mill where several climbs converge.
