Lovely little climb. Not so much the climb itself, easy, but the setting. At the foot of this pile lies Mullem, a village covered in cobblestones, hidden under a few big trees. Idyllic, man, it looks like it's been copied from a Flemish novel. While starting the climb we turn away from Mullem through a few nice curves and pass a small castle. At the top we imagine ourselves in heaven, with a view like we've only seen in the Flemish Ardennes. I can recommend everyone to 'do' D... read more

Short climb that you can feel free to try popping. The cobblestones at the foot can throw a spanner in the works but the feeling when you ride through this picturesque village is wonderful. If there's some traffic, it does disappoint a bit. You have to have some luck with that.

Keep your pace up to the top, after the first turn it can get snappy, but once you make a 2nd left turn, then you're basically over it and it's okay to change gears.

Nice explosive climb with nice tarmac. Shorter than its little brother

Leuke explosieve klim met mooi asfalt. Korter dan zijn broertje

Nice climb, here you can sprint explosively to the top. Hope you don't stall and can hold on to the top! The bends complete the picture!

As a climb not so difficult but beautiful and enjoyable. It is an explosive climb where a good run-up is important. Heading down false flat. Then the beautiful village of Mullem through the cobblestones dock, and then a short sprint up a winding road under the trees to the castle. At the end you have a nice view.

Only if you pass it, the name worthy of a climb.
Big sheet to take, passed before you know it.

Not so much for the challenge, but for that pure, hard to describe thing we call 'enjoying'.

Heerlijk klimmetje. Idyllisch, man, zo weggeplukt uit één of andere Vlaamse roman.
