The start of this climb goes up very gently but on excellent tarmac and through quite nice surroundings. In Winamplanche you turn left towards Creppe where the road suddenly becomes a lot narrower (with reasonable tarmac) - and steeper besides. The route does pass through nice scenery with occasional views and the length of the steeper section does make itself felt. After a descent, you arrive in Creppe where you follow the "main road". After the hairpin turn, it soon flattens out until the end.
