Great climb. The approach is over some cobblestones, but afterwards the landscape opens up and you can enjoy the steep percentages. Sometimes it seems steeper than indicated here. Narrow road so watch out for oncoming traffic. Afterwards you may join a spur of another climb.
Zalige klim. De aanloop is wel over wat kasseitjes, maar nadien trekt het landschap open en kan je genieten van de stevige percentages. Het lijkt wel soms wat steiler dan hier aangegeven staat. Smalle weg dus opletten voor tegenliggers. Nadien sluit je misschien nog aan op een uitloper van een andere klim.
The Chemin aux Moutons is an old narrow road (two cars would find it difficult to pass each other) that is seldom used between Spa and the village of Creppe.
The surface isn't great, but nothing too serious either. Nothing to break the machine.

Le revêtement n'est pas terrible mais rien de bien grave non plus. Pas de quoi casser la machine.
Une fois passé la caserne ça grimpe sec ! Un bon entraînement !
Et une fois arrivé à Creppe, l'avenue (qui n'a rien d'une avenue, c'est une route forestière) André Guillaume vous amène direct sur la route de Bérinzenne où on peut encore monter jusqu'au col.

Attention, le Cotacol démarre plus bas ...
Cela démarre tranquille sur l'avenue qui mène à Spa Monopole (même s'il y a un petit passage à 10％), ensuite on tourne à gauche pour se retrouver sur un secteur pavés de 200 mètres et enfin on s'attaque au Chemin des Moutons et ses 15％, la partie qui va un peu piquer. Le dénivelé redevient acceptable une fois que l'on prend la Rue de l'Eglise (dans Creppe).
La montée est très bucolique et vaut le détour 😉
