I climbed during the Tour de Basse Meuse but I can't remember much about the climb apart from the fact that it was very fast and the finish in the village hurt.

If you don't want to get wet tyres (and possibly feet ;)) like your neighbour, this is the alternative because here you just cross the stream with a bridge. The start climbs nicely up to Mortier, then the percentage changes between false flat (mostly) and nice and relaxed (sometimes). After the village though very nice views which definitely adds value to the climb.

Het begin loopt lekker op tot aan Mortier, daarna wisselt het percentage tussen vals plat (meestal) en lekker aangenaam relaxed (soms). Na het dorp wel erg fraaie uitzichten wat de klim zeker meerwaarde geeft.

The first part goes up gradually and before the curve to the left you have on the right side a nice view over the green valley. Then you drive into the village. After the village I turned off to Julemont and skipped the long stretch of false flat.
Weinig bijzondere klim, maar het alternatief voor dezelfde beklimming via Rue du Gué (aangezien er bij die beklimming aan de voet een klein beekje over de weg loopt).
Het eerste stuk loopt geleidelijk omhoog en voor de bocht naar links heb je aan de rechterkant een mooi uitzicht over het groene dal. Daarna rij je het dorpje in. Na het dorpje ben ik afgeslagen naar Julemont en daarmee het lange stuk vals plat overgeslagen.
