Variant of the climb of Côte de Mortier. This climb over 5 kilometres long also starts near the turn-off to St. André. At the first junction, turn left onto Drève de Cortils and climb up parallel to Côte de Mortier past château Cortils. Before the château you dock for a bit on the cobbles. Eventually, just before Mortier, you rejoin the main climb and continue through the village to the summit. Barring some steeper sections, it is for the most part a fine false flat climb.
Variant op de klim van Côte de Mortier. Deze klim ruim 5 kilometer lange klim start eveneens t.h.v. de afslag naar St. André. Op de eerste splitsing ga je linksaf Drève de Cortils op en klim je parallel aan de Côte de Mortier langs château Cortils omhoog. Voor het château dokker je nog een stukje over de kasseien. Uiteindelijk kom je vlak voor Mortier weer op de hoofdklim terecht en ga je via het dorp verder naar de top. Behoudens enkele steilere stukken is het voor het grootste deel een prima lopende vals plat klim.
The nicer variant of the long climb to Côte de Mortier because after a nice winding first section you turn left on a tree-lined avenue to the beautiful Château Cortils. Here you turn right over a small section (about'50 metres) of cobblestones up after which an undulating and pretty little road through the farmlands follows. After Mortier follows a section with fine views. Long, varied and pleasant climb on quiet roads.
De leukere variant van de lange klim naar Côte de Mortier want na een leuk slingerend eerste stuk ga je linksaf over een met boompjes omzoomde laan naar het mooie Château Cortils. Hier rechtsaf over een klein stukje (zo'n 50 meter) kasseien omhoog waarna een golvend en fraai klein weggetje door de landerijen volgt. Na Mortier volgt een deel met fraaie uitzichten. Lange, gevarieerde en aangename klim over rustige wegen.
