This is a beautiful climb in an already beautiful cycling environment. You start with the toughest section with a few nice curves. you leave the village fairly quickly where you have a view for a very short while before diving into the forest. The road is narrow but in very good condition. At the end, the climb flattens out and you get into open space from time to time.

Zeer pittige beklimming. Zeker de eerste kilometers vanaf je de grote weg afgaat en door het bos omhoog rijdt, zijn de zwaarste. Boven kom je op een soort van plateau tussen de bomen terecht waar je eigenlijk nog stukken dalend en vals plat hebt. De omgeving is hier zeer mooi, maar naar mijn gevoel was het nog redelijk druk op de smalle weg tijdens de beklimming, waardoor de auto's je wel heel dicht moeten passeren in twee richtingen. Desalniettemin een aanrader!

Na het recuperatiestuk klim je nog gestaag verder tot de top. Ik volg de mening van hierboven dat deze absoluut ook aan te raden valt als afdaling.

Erg mooie klim door een bos met goed wegdek. Maar beter nog; deze moet je afdalen! Schitterend slingerend door de bossen zonder dat je je rem hoeft aan te raken. Een aanrader beide kanten op!

Zodra je afdraait aan de kerk loopt het direct op met mooie uitzichten over de vallei wat het steilste stuik van de klim. Eens je volledig in het bos verdwijnt zakken de percentages licht en heb je 2 mooie haarspeldbochten waar je door bomen zicht hebt op de vallei. Je denkt dat de klim voorbij is als in de open vlakte en enkele huizen komt maar het is een kleine kilometer die vals plat is waarna het nog enkele honderden meters steiler wordt als je terug het bos in rijdt. Goed wegdek en geen verkeer
