La route est assez rectiligne, plutôt large et en bon état. Vers le sommet, ne pas manquer de regarder sur sa gauche et de contempler le mémorial dédié à la compagnie Stéphane, groupe local de résistants très actifs de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale.
