In a word, this climb is beautiful. Do not expect murderous gradients, for that you have to be elsewhere. Just a quiet climb through a gorge that gradually changes into a quiet forest. Along the way I saw deer, boars and lots of lizards. There was not much traffic until just before the pass. About two kilometers before the end you turn onto a larger road. There are still some cars. At the top is a bar where you can get coffee and a sandwich. Water can be refilled in Agnières. The road surface ... read more

The road surface is good. The descent on the other side is quite straight and that lends itself to rock-hard speeds. I wish I had a 54 mounted, then I could have gone even faster. Pure downhill pleasure this one.
