Beautiful and very gentle climb. The percentages remain fairly constant. In the forest, unfortunately, few views, but plenty of spots to enjoy the view.
Mooie en zeer rustige klim. De percentages blijven redelijk constant. In het bos helaas weinig uitzicht, maar genoeg plekken om wel van het uitzicht te kunnen genieten.
Top klim, zeer constistente klim. Weinig verkeer. Zorg dat je veilig aan de voet van de klim geraakt want de grote baan tussen martigny en verbier is niet zo veilig
Did this climb as part of the RidetheAlps series put on by the canton of Valais, which is series of weekends where they close the roads on various passes and provide amenities for cyclists. Could not recommend the event enough: free registration, free coffee and snacks, refill and raclette stations during the ride. Lovely event put on by lovely people. As for the climb, it is not particularly difficult but gives incredibly rewarding views. It can also be connected to the Col du Lein via a gravel road (easily passable on my 28mm road bike tires) which continues from the top of the col. This extension does add a few hundred meters of climbing though and I found it the most taxing part.
