Very irregular climb but beautiful scenery. Narrow and quiet road along its entire length where you alternate between steep sections and even some descents. Difficult to get into a rhythm.

The Col de Pierre Levée is reached via a narrow road that is fortunately rarely used.
It has a very irregular profile with gradients ranging from 1 to 12.5 % which are quite hard on the legs, especially if you climb it at the end of the route.
Even if it's not THE pass you'd especially make the trip for it does, that said, offer some beautiful panoramas.
It's on the northern edge of the Cévennes, so the Mediterranean vegetation doesn't offer much shade, so watch out for the heat in summer ☝️
