Very nice climb, unknown and quite steep, on the only asphalt road on this side of the Bourne gorges. Beautiful views of the gorges and the Presles cliffs on the other side. For my part, I prefer to avoid the Méselier pass (after which the road goes along the bottom of the Grands Goulets but ends very quickly) and continue towards Chatelus to go down to Choranche.

You can then, at your choice, come back to Pont-en-Royans, or follow the Bourne gorges towards the Romeyère pass, Méaudre or Villard-de-Lans, or go up to Presles on one of the most beautiful roads of the Vercors and then continue towards the Mont Noir pass or Pra-l'Étang.
