A very rolling and pleasant pass. Good surface, traffic can be heavy but the road is wide and gently sloping. There's little shade and a lovely setting both on the way up and at the summit. It is possible to descend quickly and safely.

It's smooth and pretty, the road is good but there can be a lot of traffic. We can turn off towards Bellecilbe en bauge if we want to add more tourism and more gradients.

A fairly easy pass, very good for starting or finishing the day to get to Annecy or to transit to Chambéry.

Definitely not the most difficult climb, but with 2000 altimeters in your legs and a headwind on the many open parts of the Leschaux, it's a slope you can't imagine. I tried to ride on reserve because the Semnoz was still to come, but it took more energy than expected. With less wind this is perfectly doable, it is nowhere steep.
