Perhaps my favourite climb in the region, and a wonderful discovery! You stay in the forest the whole way up, which is ideal in the summer. There's not much traffic and the road is in relatively good condition, some parts very good, others gravelly (I passed just after some roadworks, bad luck). The crossing at Arconsat is steep, but the rest of the climb is very steady. You have to climb this pass if you're passing through!... read more

A fine, fairly demanding climb. Relatively regular except for a very steep section in the village of Arconsat (world capital of cabbage sausage ;-) ).

Nice climb with little traffic. Rather steep in the beginning so that there is a risk of blowing yourself up quickly. In the twilight hours, there is a lot of wildlife crossing the road. Beautiful but also quite tough.
