Long runner, very nice first section through a rocky gorge, then gently climbing further. Not a difficult climb, but a long one. Tip: don't turn around, but also ride the descent to Croix Haute: spectacular views of snow-covered Alps! (At least in April)

(In april althans)

Nice pass of a decent length, we start with a gorge/river atmosphere then it goes up progressively towards the heights of the village of Glandage then Grimone. So there are several sections that punctuate the climb, fortunately because I'm not a big fan of long climbs. When I did it it was quite cold with snow on the surrounding peaks, almost nobody on the road, it was almost scary 😅. Beautiful wild scenery and a historic bakery in Grimone in case of hunger. The descent to the La Croix Haute pass is nice but a bit short!
