Het eerste - amper stijgende - deel van het aangegeven traject loopt over een asfaltfietspad waarna je rechtsaf een goed berijdbare (ook met dunne bandjes) en harde gravelweg in gaat die met enkele leuke bochten langs een heideveld en door het bos omhoog loopt. Mooie onverharde klim.
